Ingredients
4 cups quick-cooking oats
1 cup unprocessed oat bran
1/3 cup ground flax seed
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/3 cup wheat germ
1 cup honey
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup dried fruit (a combination of dried cranberries, apricots, and raisins is great!)
1/2 cup carob chips (optional)

Instructions
Heat oats in oven in an ungreased pan for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and combine oats with all other ingredients except fruit and chips in an ovenproof bowl. Mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Stir. Bake 10 more minutes. Remove from oven. Add dried fruits and chips. Mix. Press mixture into a greased 13x9" pan. Cool and cut into bars.
