In the United States, the first wave of the “baby boomer” generation will turn 65 this year. With an estimated one in eight boomers at risk for Alzheimer’s, it is a public health concern that requires immediate attention. That’s why Pfizer and the Alzheimer’s Association® collaborated on the “It’s Time to Face Alzheimer’s” initiative, which established a Web site, www.TimetoFaceAlz.org, to provide a forum to address the issues concerning this disease.

Although there is no cure today, ongoing research holds out hope for new solutions for treatment and prevention. Some of the articles below highlight new findings in the field and offer the latest in valuable advice for helping improve our quality of life.
